"After years of going to the BCHW Clinic located on beautiful Elm Place in Princeton, IL, I thought I might let others know just how helpful the doctors, nurses and staff there have been to me over the years. I had been married with very good medical insurance for 35 years, but due to a recent divorce I was left penniless and with no medical insurance. For the first time in my life I turned to our government….each time I left an appointment, I left in tears.

I first turned to BCHW Clinic when my regular doctor in Sheffield realized that I was having much difficulty paying for office visits and medications. He referred me to BCHWC. Feeling very doubtful that anyone would be willing to help me, I did call and make my first appointment. What a truly warm, wonderful experience! From the moment I first walked into their tiny facility on Main Street in Princeton, I felt very cared for and was helped immediately. That was a few years ago, now BCHW Clinic has moved to a beautiful building on Elm Place and I am still visiting them. The doctors and nurses are volunteers, the office workers are volunteers, and the clinic depends upon donations for their existence.

In the past few years, the BCHWC has helped me through so much that I can't even begin to thank them. They're always there even if I need a warm hug, there's always someone there with open arms and heart. This is a totally wonderful group of volunteers and I'd like to take this opportunity to just say "Thank you all for being there! You are all angels sent from above, I just know it and I ask God's blessing upon each and every one of you and the clinic as well."
